Promoting the commercial enterprise of horses and horse racing GEEP’s mission is to promote Georgia’s equine industry from a commercial perspective.

Horses have always been a partner with mankind in work and play. In today’s world, horses account for a multibillion dollar industry, while at the same time serving in a variety of activities, enjoyed by both the horses and their handlers. GEEP’s main concern is for the horses themselves. A more professional approach to their development as an industry assures better and safer training, medical

If we can get rid of all the Republicans in the Georgia legislature, we can initiate horse racing. This will be a new source of revenue to save the rural areas which are having their hospitals close. It will provide new jobs in small towns where training and breeding facilities have to take place due to lower land costs -- and all of this done with private funds. The Republican Georgia legislature has stopped parimutuel gaming and thus has denied the Peach State of a $2 billion industry.

Trump says his intelligence officials should ‘go back to school’ in tweet 02/01/2019

Sixteen American intelligence agencies, many of which he appointed the head, including the Director of the FBI, all say Russians have infested our elections, yet Trump has private meetings with Putin without American interpreters, and Trump supporters continue to support him---Trump, not to be confused with Putin (albeit comrades). What American from yesteryear would have ever thought it?

Trump says his intelligence officials should ‘go back to school’ in tweet The President took to Twitter to call his intelligence officials “passive and naive” after they publicly contradicted him on Iran and ISIS on Tuesday.

Horse racing's supporters want a new track 08/15/2016

I'm one of those supporting horse racing for Georgia who believe horse racing/para mutuel gaming and casino should be together in legislation rather than separate. No question, casinos produce more state revenue for the state's coffers, but not so fast. Horse racing produces more jobs and is an entire industry not just at the tracks, but for farmers, breeders and trainers who become a new industry for small towns outside of the metro areas where the tracks may be located. Thus, you have to count the personal income of these some 10,000 new jobs and the income taxes paid to Georgia together with the revenue the track sends to the State. Georgia should make these two industries combined into the legislation called "Racinos" in other states: http://www.salemnews.com/news/state_news/horse-racing-s-supporters-want-a-new-track/article_8ea66b84-3545-5d78-8623-73a65adcc1a4.html

Horse Racing enthusiasts! Georgia has an opportunity to bring the Sport of Kings to our State. But only if there is substantial change in the Georgia legislature in November. Conservative Republicans have killed our horse racing legislation every year for almost 10 years. With polls showing growing numbers of voters voting for Democrats (who support horse racing), if more Democratic State Representatives and Senators are successful against Conservative Democrats, horse racing and para mutuel gaming CAN become a reality. And with that industry comes 10,000 new jobs and a $1 billion new industry. Small towns in Georgia, now dying, would benefit with breeding and training facilities and HOPE would receive the needed funding to keep our best students tuition free. It's a private enterprise industry that needs no governmental funding, only passage of the legislation. And that can happen beginning this fall if you vote Democrats over conservative Republican.,

If you want horse racing in Georgia and the 10,000 new jobs and $1billion new industry it will bring to our State, thereby creating additional revenue for education and other programs, ALL WITH PRIVATE MONEY, you need to know the facts. One hundred (100%) of Democrats in the legislature support horse racing. Republicans block it every year, led my Republican Speaker David Ralston and Republican Senators David Shafer and Judson Hill. Please find someone to run against these elected officials.
