Meet Zeina Rmaile, a 2nd-year Aerospace Engineering major bringing leadership and a global perspective as a new Georgia Tech Student Ambassador!

As the Event Coordinator for the Hispanic Recruitment Team and Treasurer for the School of Aerospace Engineering Student Advisory Council, Zeina is constantly finding ways to connect people and build community. Outside these commitments, she performs with the GT Color Guard and is involved in research at both the Lunar Lab and the Aerospace Robotics Lab.

Having grown up in Lebanon, the Netherlands, and the United States, Zeina values meaningful conversations and new perspectives. As a GT Student Ambassador, she’s excited to share her story and help others find their place at Tech. Congratulations to our 2026 Honorary Ambassadors, Rachel Clark and General Ronald Johnson!

Rachel Clark:
For a long time, Rachel served as our Staff Advisor while also working as the Manager of Student and New Alumni Engagement at the Alumni Association. In her role as our Staff Advisor, she was our mentor, our advocate, and the person who made sure we stayed true to our mission and pillars while navigating the complexities of student leadership.

Recently, she’s taken on a new role at the Scheller College of Business as the Full-time MBA Recruiting Manager, but even with a new office and new responsibilities, she has never stopped being a champion for this organization. Rachel still remains as a mentor and friend of the organization, with her even coming back to help with recruitment interviews this year.

Thank you for being our steady hand for so many years and for always being a Yellow Jacket through and through!

General Ronald Johnson:
General Ronald Johnson is the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Staff for Georgia Tech.

Before he was helping lead our Institute, he was a Major General who spent 32 years in the U.S. Army, where he was the second highest-ranking engineer in the entire Corps. He’s managed massive reconstruction efforts in Iraq and revitalized communities after Hurricane Katrina. He even spent years as the Senior Vice President of Referee Operations for the NBA.

Long before we got the privilege of having him as a guest speaker at our GBM last Fall, he was already an icon amongst our members. Whether walking across campus or serving at an event, you can trust General Johnson to consistently be the welcoming, smiling face that reminds you why our community is so special.

General Johnson’s impact on us goes beyond your leadership of strategic priorities. He shows us every day how to lead with both excellence and a sense of humor. Thank you for always rooting for us and for being such a vital part of the Ambassador family!
