I would like to introduce myself, I am Mike Stone. I was born and raised in Atlanta, Ga.. I am a Real Estate Broker here in Atlanta. I have been blessed with two great children (now young adults) and a precious Granddaughter. I have a good relationship with my ex-wife, a good family, and I thank God every day for all of my blessings. I have had some rough times in life as I am sure everyon
e has. I now look back and know that it was all part of God's plan for my life. I am a true believer in God my Father and Savior. I always try to remember that my past did not define me it prepared me. Studies show that God is slowly disappearing from peoples everyday lives. Christianity has declined in the U.S. by a whopping 8% from 2007 to 2015. I know that the majority of people do still believe in God and do trust in Him. After all it is printed on every piece of U.S. currency...In God We Trust. The question that comes to my mind is what about God trusting in us? God has blessed us in so many ways and I believe He trust in us to be thankful to Him for all He has created and given to us. He trust in us not to destroy the world He so lovingly created. He trust in us to live by His Word of The Holy Bible. Why me and Why Now...
Two years ago I had a life changing experience and I learned how to Pray. I did not learn to pray for good things to happen in my life (I was pretty good at that already). I learned to pray and thank God for all that He had given and continues to give to me. I co-founded a group called The Dare to Care Team that goes into the streets of Atlanta and share with the less fortunate. We have blessing bags we have made for both men and women that contain toiletries. We have set up the Weber grill in a city park and cooked hotdogs and hamburgers for these less fortunate brothers and sisters of ours. There are over six hundred thousand homeless men, women, and children on the streets of the U.S. on any given night. In my book that is completely unacceptable. My fellow children of God...I cannot begin to tell you of the gratitude these less fortunate show for what we are doing for them. We shake hands, we hug, we pray and talk with our brothers and sisters. God created all of us and I know He trust in us to look after one another to the best of our ability. I have created this site to get people to THINK GOD more in their everyday lives and to help our less fortunate brothers, sisters and children.
