Happy National Pathologists’ Assistant Day!
Today, we recognize and celebrate the vital contributions of Pathologists’ Assistants in anatomic pathology and laboratory medicine. PAs are highly trained professionals who play a key role in the accurate and timely processing of laboratory specimens, including the macroscopic examination and dissection of surgical tissue.
Working across both surgical and autopsy pathology, PAs are an essential part of the care team and a driving force behind the work we do every day.
We’re grateful for their skill, dedication, and the meaningful impact they make on our department and the patients we serve.
Join us in thanking our Pathologists’ Assistants today. 👏👏👏
