KINGDOM RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE, AND POWER
“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” — Romans 14:17 (KJV)
The Kingdom of God is a present spiritual reality into which every believer has been brought through Christ. This Kingdom is not defined by outward rituals, natural appearances, or material things. It is the realm where God’s rule is established in the heart and life of the believer. According to Romans 14:17, this Kingdom is characterized by righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. These are not mere ideas; they are living realities that define the believer’s life under the government of God. Let us take each carefully…
First, the Kingdom of God is righteousness. Through the finished work of Christ, the born-again believer has been made right with God. This righteousness is not earned by human effort or sustained by personal performance; it is a gift received by FAITH (Ephesians 2:8-9). Because of this righteousness, we stand accepted before God, free from condemnation, and empowered to live in fellowship with Him every day of our lives. In this sense, Kingdom righteousness gives us the confidence in approaching God and the boldness to work out His will.
The Kingdom of God is also peace. This peace is more than the mere absence of trouble. Rather, it is the inward rest that flows from being reconciled to God and trusting in His sovereign care. The peace of the Kingdom steadies us in the midst of trials, uncertainties, and pressures. Whilst the world is filled with fear and instability, we can live with calm assurance because the government of God oversees our affairs. It makes me remember a dream my wife had about my positive disposition many years ago. Till this day, that dream continues to serve as a seed towards our God-ordained destination. Kingdom peace guards our heart and mind and keeps us anchored in the promises of God.
The Kingdom is likewise marked by joy and thanksgiving. Joy in the Holy Ghost is not just a happy feeling; it’s the supernatural strength of the Kingdom bubbling up from deep within our soul. This joy is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). It is a holy defiance that says, “I will be joyful regardless of the situation,” because our heart is anchored in something much bigger than our problems. Ha! I know this feeling… When the Holy Spirit fills you, He gives you the divine ability to keep your joy even when life gets heavy, turning your heart into a wellspring of thanksgiving. This kind of life is the very life of God manifesting in you.
Beloved, the Kingdom of God is in you. Walk in the consciousness of your righteousness in Christ. Let the peace of God rule in your heart. Yield yourself to the power of joy in the Holy Spirit. As you do, the reality of the Kingdom will be seen in your life, and God’s nature will be manifested through you.
SAY THIS PRAYER:
Father, I thank You for giving me Your Kingdom through Jesus Christ. Thank You that I have been made righteous, filled with peace, and empowered with joy in the Holy Ghost. Help me to live daily in the consciousness of these Kingdom realities in Jesus’ name. Amen.

How did GOD design FAITH to operate?

BELIEVING AND SPEAKING IN AGREEMENT WITH GOD
“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.” — 2 Corinthians 4:13 (KJV)
FAITH in the life of the believer is expressed through both believing and speaking. I heard from Dr. Nancy Dufresne that one reason Abraham waited twenty-five years to see his promise manifest was that he kept it in his heart but not in his mouth. Even though Abraham believed God, he hadn't yet learned to speak in agreement with Him. To change this, God taught him to call himself 'Abraham'—which means 'Father of many nations.' It was only when he started speaking the promise out loud that he finally saw it come to pass (Genesis 17:5, Genesis 21). FAITH is not only a matter of the heart but also a confession of the mouth. When we truly believe the Word of God, that belief naturally finds expression through spoken agreement with what God has declared.
God has designed FAITH to operate in this way: First, the Word of God enters the heart through hearing and meditation. As the heart becomes convinced of God’s truth, FAITH rises within it. Then, that FAITH is released through words. This is why the Apostle Paul emphasized that those who believe also speak (2 Corinthians 4:13). FAITH is not silent; it boldly declares the truth of God’s Word.
Many Christians unknowingly weaken their FAITH by speaking words that contradict God’s Word. When the mouth continually declares fear, defeat, or impossibility, it becomes difficult for FAITH to grow. But when the believer consistently speaks in agreement with the Word, FAITH is strengthened, and spiritual authority is released.
Speaking in agreement with God also shapes the atmosphere of your life. Words carry influence, and FAITH-filled words align your life with the promises of God. As you continually declare what God has said, your heart becomes more deeply persuaded of His truth, and your expectation of His faithfulness increases. This is what FAITH is about.
From today, let your words reflect your FAITH in God. Fill your heart with the Word and allow your mouth to declare it boldly. When you believe and speak in agreement with God, you position yourself to experience the manifestation of His promises in your life.
MAKE THIS CONFESSION:
Father, I believe Your Word, and I speak in agreement with Your promises. I refuse to speak fear, doubt, or defeat. Instead, I declare what You have said, and Your Word works powerfully in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

FAITH COMES BY THE WORD
“So then FAITH cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of GOD.” — Romans 10:17 (KJV)
Let us begin today’s devotional from this basic truth: FAITH is the foundation of the believer’s relationship with GOD. It is the means through which we please God, receive His promises, overcome life’s challenges, and walk in the victory that Christ has secured for us (Hebrews 11:6, 1 John 5:4). Yet FAITH does not appear automatically; it is cultivated and strengthened through one primary source—the living Word of God.
The Bible clearly teaches that FAITH comes by hearing the Word. This means that the more we expose our hearts to the Word of God, the more FAITH begins to rise within us. FAITH is not generated by human efforts, emotional excitement, or wishful thinking. It is born when the heart encounters the truth of God’s Word and becomes convinced of its reality. This is why it is essential for every one of us to maintain a steady diet of God’s Word. Just as the physical body requires daily nourishment to remain strong, our spirit must continually feed on the Word. Neglecting the Word weakens our FAITH, but consistently hearing and meditating on the Word strengthens our trust in God.
FAITH that comes from the Word also produces stability. It enables us to stand firm even when the circumstances appear contrary to what God has promised. When our FAITH is anchored in the truth of God’s Word, we will not be easily shaken by negative reports or temporary challenges.
Beloved, the purpose of today’s devotional is to help you develop strong FAITH. If you desire your FAITH to grow stronger, then you must give the Word of God a central place in your life. Listen to it, study it, meditate on it, and confess it. As you continually hear the Word, FAITH will rise within your heart, and you will find yourself walking in dominion.
SAY THIS PRAYER:
Father, thank You for the power of Your Word that reshapes my life. I pray that you empower me by Your Spirit to give Your Word a central place in my life. From this day, let Your Word continually transform my heart and guide my walk with You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

THE KINGDOM GIVEN TO US
“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” — Luke 12:32 (KJV)
Beloved, contrary to popular belief, the Kingdom of God is not merely a future promise reserved for heaven. The Kingdom is a present spiritual reality that we are called to live in and operate through. In Luke 12:32, Jesus assured us that it is the Father’s good pleasure to give us the Kingdom. This reveals God’s generous and gracious desire for us—His children—to partake in His divine rule and authority. Follow me gently…
This Kingdom represents the realm where God’s will, His power, and His righteousness prevail. The Bible says that when a person receives Christ, he is translated from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light—the Kingdom of His dear Son (Colossians 1:13). As believers, we are no longer subject to the dominion of sin, fear, and spiritual defeat. Instead, we now belong to a Kingdom governed by God’s authority, truth, and power. Like Jesus, our Kingdom is not of this world; hence, the realities of this world do not affect our life quality.
Learning from Dr. Bill Winston and Dr. Myles Munroe, I realized by experience that the Kingdom provides a special atmosphere that makes us live victoriously as gods on the earth. This Kingdom carries with it the provisions of God. In the Kingdom, there is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). The Kingdom gives you access to divine health. These are not distant ideals but present realities available to those who choose to walk in fellowship with God. As I started to grow in my understanding of the Kingdom, I learned to live with confidence, knowing that I am an heir of divine promises and participants in God’s eternal purpose. You, too, can begin to live this reality.
To experience the reality of this Kingdom, you need FAITH and spiritual awareness. To develop both, you must continually renew your mind to the truth of God’s Word and embrace your identity as a citizen of God’s Kingdom. As this understanding grows, you will naturally begin to live with greater boldness, authority, and purpose.
MAKE THIS CONFESSION:
I am a citizen of the Kingdom of God. I have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Christ. Therefore, I walk in Kingdom authority, Kingdom righteousness, Kingdom peace, and Kingdom joy in the name of Jesus. This Kingdom governs my life, and through Christ, I exercise dominion over every circumstance in Jesus’ name. Amen.

How does FAITH grow?
FAITH grows as the heart continually meditates on and learns to rely on the truth of God’s Word. The more we feed on God’s Word, the stronger our FAITH becomes. Over time, our FAITH will become the natural response to life’s circumstances because our mind has been trained to agree with God.

FAITH AS A WAY OF LIFE
“For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” — Romans 1:17 (KJV)
FAITH is not a magic wand. I must state this fact because many believers seem to think that FAITH is merely an occasional response to difficult situations. On the contrary, FAITH must be the lifestyle of the believer. The Bible teaches us that the just—those who have been made righteous through Christ—are called to live an everyday life of FAITH (Romans 1:17). This means that FAITH is not an event but a continuous way of life that governs how the believer thinks, speaks, and acts.
Many people approach FAITH only when they are confronted with challenges. They pray, believe God for a breakthrough, and once the situation changes, they return to living by natural reasoning. But the Christian life was never designed to function this way. FAITH IN GOD and HIS WORD is meant to be the constant atmosphere in which the believer lives every day. FAITH shapes the believer’s perspective. I know because I am living it. Instead of being controlled by fear, uncertainty, or the limitations of the natural world, I suddenly started to look to the promises of God as the foundation for my life. When FAITH becomes our way of life, we respond to every situation with solid confidence in God’s faithfulness. In this sense, living by FAITH will bring spiritual stability and victory (1 John 5: 4).
How does FAITH grow? FAITH grows as the heart continually meditates and learn to rely on the truth of God’s Word. The more we feed on God’s Word, the stronger our FAITH become. Over time, our FAITH will become the natural response to life’s circumstances because our mind has been trained to agree with God.
In summary, FAITH is the pathway through which the believer walks in the fullness of God’s provision and purpose. From today, let FAITH guide your decisions, strengthen your heart, and shape your daily walk with God. As you continue to walk by FAITH, your life becomes very pleasing to God (Hebrews 11:6).
SAY THIS PRAYER:
FATHER, I thank You for calling me to live by FAITH. Help me to continually trust Your Word in every situation. Strengthen my heart to walk in obedience and confidence in Your promises and let my FAITH IN YOU become the governing principle of my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen
