Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) invites GCPS families, Gwinnett County residents, students, and GCPS staff members to participate in the school district’s review of the Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum for select courses in Career and Technical Education, Special Education, World Language, Multilingual Learners, and Science.

We are thrilled to announce that Ms. Villalobos has been named our NHS Teacher of the Year!

Ms. Villalobos goes above and beyond every single day to inspire, support, and push our students to be their absolute best. Our school community is lucky to have her passion and dedication in the classroom!

Our PBIS team launched a brand-new initiative today to celebrate the amazing students and staff who make our school community shine: Monthly Birthday Celebrations!

To kick things off, we hosted a huge celebration today for all of our Summer Birthdays! Going forward, we will be recognizing and celebrating our birthday crew at the end of every month.

What a wonderful way to kick off the new school year! We were honored to welcome our new Superintendent, Dr. Estrella, to campus today.

During her visit, she spent time observing learning in our classrooms, visited with students during lunch, and connected with many members of our school community throughout the day.

Plan Ahead for a Successful School Year!

At Norcross High School, every day matters. Regular attendance plays a vital role in student success. Being in class helps students stay engaged, build meaningful relationships with teachers and classmates, and take advantage of every learning opportunity.

To help families plan ahead, we've created our 2026–2027 Vacation Planner, highlighting long weekends and school breaks. We encourage families to schedule vacations, appointments, and other activities during these designated breaks whenever possible to help minimize missed instructional time.

Thank you for partnering with us to make attendance a priority. Your support makes a difference, and together we can help every Blue Devil have a successful school year!
