Could a 10 year old invent the next Uber? Come find out at the 3rd Annual Grant Park Children’s Business Fair, showcasing children’s entrepreneurial genius! We are inviting all children, ages 5-15, to register as an entrepreneur for the event and we would also love to invite the entire community at large to come support and shop this event! There will be all kinds of goodies handmade by these kids - from jewelry, to art, to comic books, to dog treats to hand baked treats. Children create a product or service, develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at this one-day marketplace. The children are responsible for the setup, sales, and interacting with customers. We believe the Children’s Business Fair instills leadership, courage, perseverance and responsibility into young hearts and minds. CALLING ALL KIDS IN GRANT PARK & SURROUNDING NEIGHBORHOODS!! We are hosting a ‘giving event’ at Wood’s Chapel BBQ in Summerhill - kids from all schools are invited to bring warm clothing + dry donations - full list saved in highlights! - to give to those in need in our very own neighborhood via St. John the Wonderworker Orthodox Church (on Cherokee Ave). If you donate, you will receive 20% off your dinner at Wood’s Chapel and/or just come and stay for roasting marshmallows over the fire pit while our crew of Wythe learners read a book aloud to all our guests! Our Open House at 5PM on Wednesday, November 15th is an opportunity to learn more about Wythe Academy and its learning model from our Founders, myself, Guides, and a current Wythe family. If you can’t make the Open House on Wednesday at 5pm, we offer Open House again on Thursday, November 16th at 2:30pm just before attending our Learner Exhibition on Bugs at 2:45PM.
