Being in Atlanta and getting to see my sister and my niece so frequently has been so healing. We’ve ebbed and flowed in our closeness over the years, and this time our flow feels different. Better. More honest. Present. Authentic. It feels really good. 💗
The day after I returned to Atlanta was the day that I decided I couldn’t even be friends with Pete and that I needed a very long period of no contact. But what started as a very painful and sad day turned into the most fun and empowering experience, thanks to Megan.
We ended up at a fancy hotel in Midtown with all my lingerie and all her camera and lighting equipment in tow. She did my makeup while I played Artemas on Spotify. We were both so excited because it was a first for both of us (her shooting and me modeling bo***ir). It was SO FUN.
And even more fun to see the result. I can’t describe the awe I felt to see the photos. Like wow. This is me. I look like that. I’m so hot! It was a pretty incredible moment. I felt so much compassion for the younger version of me, who was so hard on herself for so long and struggled to be in healthy relationship with food and her body.
Today is exactly 2 years from the day Pete and I went on our first date. And Megan came through again - this time with tickets to see Artemas in New York. We got here yesterday and it’s a quick 48 hour trip, but it’s great to be out and about and doing something fun and different, especially today. ✨
More from this shoot coming soon! 💋💋

Did you know May is ? How did self-pleasure get its own month?
It started in 1995 as a response to the forced resignation of U.S. Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders, the first African American and the second woman to hold the position. Her time in office was characterized by her candid discussions on controversial health issues, including drug legalization and the importance of comprehensive s*x education in schools. She was unfortunately forced to resign for promoting ma********on as a part of healthy s*xual development.
Since then, May has become a time to promote self-love and s*xual health awareness. Let’s break the taboos and embrace our bodies!
