What a weekend!
We had a great time celebrating 20-years with the Class of 2005! Friday kicked off with a family pizza picnic and campus tour, followed by a lively Saturday night at Punchbowl Social. It was a weekend full of reconnecting with old friends and reminiscing on the good ole days.

Walker Class of 2022 graduate Zack Herbst is being recognized by Tulane University’s School of Science and Engineering for his leadership on an innovative student research project exploring how humans might build on the Moon. As a senior Earth Science major, Zack helped lead the development of “lunar cement,” a sustainable material made from lunar soil that could reduce the weight of construction materials needed from Earth by up to 80 percent, potentially saving millions in space travel costs. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team and faculty mentors, Zack adapted the project to meet NASA competition guidelines and gained valuable experience in high-level research, including writing proposals and securing grant funding. After graduation, Zack will pursue his PhD at the University of Colorado at Boulder, working with Dr. Steve Jacobsen, a prominent mineral physicist and geophysicist.
