We are excited to be working with two college students, one from Spellman and another one from Morehouse College.

They have been funded to develop a software program using AI that will help students access curriculum that their reading levels sometimes prevent them from accessing.

Today they were with teachers. In a few weeks, the students will be invited to the innovation lab on Spellman College campus to try out the program.

This is the reality for many students.

Now, imagine students who are already behind academically, emotionally and with their maturity level due to learning differences.

We can help!

If your student has a learning difference and will be headed to middle school or high school next year, DM us.

…and Georgia, like many states, still has not been able to fund special education enough to see successful outcomes for this population.

Our country is in chaos and the school system as we know it is fundamentally being changed.

There is no doubt that this is and will impact students, but the impact upon kids who learn differently is even worst.

Trump is indeed in a season of transition. We are currently partnering with a school in Atlanta, creating an inclusive program setting.

It has been wonderful and something we hope to expand for the 2026-2027 school year.

BUT we still believe in our mission of working with students in a setting where they have personlized learning and can go at their own pace with the goal of building their skill and sending them back to more inclusive, traditional settings with the tools they need to thrive.

With all alternative settings, they can only exist if parents support them.

Have NO doubt, Triumph is needed! But parents have to support it by enrolling their children, period.

We cant complain about a system not meeting the needs of our students if we continue to overlook existing programs that will better educate them.

We are looking to enroll students in both our Cobb location in Austell and serve them at our partner school in Atlanta for the 2026-2027 school year.

If you are a parent with a student who has a learning disability who will enter or should be entering grades 6-12 for the next school year and you need HELP or if you need to consult with someone to determine the best fit for your child, comment below.

Our heartbeat has always been wanting tonsee kids with learning differences succeed whether that is in our setting or one that we recommend.

As the school year comes rapidly to an end, our big adventure into gardening has provided our biggest and best lessons this year.

As gardening novice, we researched growing food from seed and why it’s important and how it could possibly help combat the rising cost of food.

Here we are, just 2.5 weeks before school ends, and we are just now getting our beds up.

One student said, “It’s almost the end of the year Mrs. Lumpkin, why are we still doing this?”

Fair question!

Me: “Because our adventure into gardening is like life. Many similarities that I personally experience and similarities that you are sure to face in your life- you don’t succeed sometimes.”

You see we failed!

We started in time, we did the research. We were able to get donations for some of our bigger items.

But our seedlings grew, but they grew too fast. Some didn’t grow at all.

We researched some more and was able to save some of our seedlings by replanting them and giving them nutrients, but we ran into spring break.

Our students took them home. They didn’t maintain the proper care. They died!

Life is like this process we experienced. Sometimes things die. Sometimes we fail.

Sometimes we don’t know enough, sometimes it’s not our fault amd sometimes it is.

We could give up or we can keep trying. We can abandon our project, our dreams and aspirations.

OR!

We can keep trying. We can start over. We can stay committed to what we sat out to do.

At triumph, that is the biggest lesson that we want to leave our students with. No matter the circumstance, no matter the reason for things not going our way, we simply take what we learned, reapply it and continue on the mission.

In the words of an urban saying, “We got to see it through my boy.”

We are always so excited🤗 to hear from our former students.

Ashante was in our first class of middle school students and now she is about to graduate high school. 💫

Triumph helped to lay a strong foundation and as you can see our students go on to achieve great things.

We are so proud of Ashante and feel so blessed we could play a small role in her ultimate success in school.

Enjoy a few pics of Ashante from her time at Triumph. The camera always loved her. ❤️
