We are a few weeks into summer break, which means our summer interns have been hard at work! Veronika ('26), Sofia ('26), and Mateo ('25) have been interning at Ermi, an organization that creates cutting-edge medical devices, and provides expert medical support for people to return to an active lifestyle. The three have been machining parts for devices that athletes may use in their rehabilitation. Veronika, who is especially interested in mechanical engineering in the aerospace industry, shared that this experience aligns with her STEAM ambitions. Ermi is also a valuable partner with AIS IHOT Robotics, as they help the team machine custom parts for their competitions. We wish all of our interns out and about across the Atlanta area all the best and thank our internship hosts for making these excellent experiences possible.
Wishing everyone a Happy Juneteenth!
Our offices will be closed in observation of this significant day, and we will reopen on Thursday, June 20th.

Massive thanks to Atlanta Opera for stopping by and giving us an incredible performance of "The Bilingual Barber of Seville"! Our students roared with laughter and were absolutely enthralled with the actors code-switching between English and Spanish dialogue. Thank you for an amazing experience!
Last Friday, Mr. Hesse and the PE department brought many of our Grade 9 students out to our new campus in Sandy Springs for an exciting overnight camping excursion. They shot archery, built fires, cooked food, and enjoyed some end of the year bonding time as part of their Outdoor Education unit. Thank you to Mr. Hesse and everyone who volunteered their time for this incredible experience!

And many thanks to our Parent Organization, for their important discussion about keeping kids safe online. Well done to all of our Eagles, working to shape the world for the better!
