The Penn State Alumni council executive board met last week at the Fayetteville campus and we continued our work of strengthening the value and impact of the Penn State Alumni Association. We also got a chance to watch our lions notch the first victory of the football season against WVU.

Penn Staters, happy Sunday!
I’m posting to ask for your support and getting equitable funding for Penn State students. Currently, Penn State is the most underfunded public university in the commonwealth on a per student basis. That makes it very difficult for Penn State to be affordable. The University has launched a legislative advocacy effort called Advocate Penn State. I’m asking everyone who sees this to sign up to be an advocate at http://advocate.PSU.edu. It takes less than 2 minutes.
Would you sign up and comment “done” when you have finished?
Here’s a snapshot of the funding disparity from Harrisburg:
Pitt: $9,049
PSSHE: $8,378
Temple: $8,275
Penn State: $5,600
National Average: $9,327
