This past Sunday we had our Cooking and Etiquette Class.

We had the honor of being shown how to make chicken Alfredo pasta and a shrimp Alfredo pasta by .👨🏽‍🍳🍝

He answered any questions the mentees and mentors had and they were able to get good knowledge on how to work their way around the kitchen! Including what kind of music he likes to listen to when he cooks. The answer.. Classical!

Topics discussed were cleanliness, cutting techniques, basic boiling of noodles, how to clean and seasoning meat, meat/dairy/seasoning/healthier substitutes, safety in the kitche, and much more! These are things aren’t always taught to every young person early on so having a class like help with the advancement of youth life skills.
