As I leave our school tonight after preparing for our teachers to return tomorrow for training and classroom preparations, I pray over all the work we are going to do in these children’s lives this year.

Say hello to the newest friend at **Lost Mountain Weekday Preschool!**

This is **Waddle**—our curious little explorer! Though he may not be a real gosling He is our new mascot! 💙

Throughout the school year, you’ll see Waddle popping up with friendly reminders, school news, fun activities, special events, and exciting adventures around campus. He’s here to help our families stay connected while making every season a little more fun!

Be on the lookout for Waddle at **Open House**, where he’ll be helping families complete their **LMWP Explorer Passport** for a chance to win a fun prize!

At LMWP, we believe learning should be filled with joy, discovery, and wonder—and Waddle is excited to be part of the adventure.

We can’t wait to share an amazing year with all of our LMWP families!

Today our teachers attended Noonday’s annual Bloom Conference for early childhood educators! Every year we set aside part of our budget to ensure all of our teachers receive at least 10 hours of professional development!

Lost Mountain Weekday Preschool received a special recognition at the key note session for being a Preschool of Excellence!

Over the course of the day 13 of our educators attended sessions focused on early literacy, effective parent communication, anxiety in young children, music as a tool for learning, and so much more!

The best part about our team is that these 13 teachers won’t just hold this information for themselves they bring back resources and knowledge to share with one another openly and with excitement!

We are three weeks away from the start of the school and we couldn’t be more excited 🌺

We can’t wait to see all of our registered new and returning families on Thursday August 6th for open house.
