For a lot of moms, finding a job that actually fits family life has gotten harder — not easier.

Coming out of the pandemic, flexible and remote roles opened real doors for mothers of young children. Now those doors are closing. In early 2026, just 4% of new job postings were fully remote — while 77% were fully on-site.
