Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority was founded on April 11, 1997 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
The Zealous Zeta Chapter of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. is located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. We, as sisters, pride ourselves on being "sisters of diversity together as ONE".

Today we honor the history of . A day in which the announcement of the abolishment of slavery finally reached the last of enslaved African-Americans in the state of Texas on June 19, 1865, 2 years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed. We celebrate how far we’ve come since that moment and recognize the work that is still to be done for equality.

“Listening to audio tapes of children crying out and seeing photos of people in caged facilites has us heart broken. The emotional trauma that has been inflicted upon numerous families should not be experienced by anyone and the practice needs to be prohibited. We firmly oppose and speak out against this policy as it is not, and will never be, the answer sought when it comes to immigration reform and needs to be challenged.”
