Be sure to join us at The 2021 Audiobook Academy, and sign up for the [X-SESSION] "Exploring Archetypes for Characters in Audiobooks" - led by Vikas Adam on September 17, 1:30-4:30pm.
https://vms.swoogo.com/audiobookacademyfall21/
Work with multiple award winner, Narrator Hall of Famer, and UCLA Theater Professor Vikas Adam on Character Creation. This X-session will be an experiential and process oriented workshop exploring and utilizing archetypes for characters in audiobooks. A non-judgmental mind, and a private open space to work and move in is required. You may not sit on the side and observe. You must participate in all aspects of the workshop. Participants will build upon the first movement oriented work with text work in the second. All participants should send a page of text with (mostly) dialogue between 2 or more characters that they’d like to work on from a book. Pick something that you find challenging. These must be sent to instructor by the day before class.
