Tomorrow Heather and Rhiannon will be co-teaching Barre at 10:30 at Onelife Fitness - Holly Springs

And then we will be back together at 6pm to dance at Elite Performance & Strength in Woodstock.

So you can get us not once but twice!!!!

On my own for week 2!!! So come dance with me tomorrow and (every Monday) at Elite Percormance & Strength in Woodstock at 6pm!!

My partner in crime is injured and lord knows she has had my back so wish Heather a speedy recovery but make sure you never miss a Monday and come shake that ass on the dance floor.

“My name is Heather McGill and I am 41 years young! Fitness has always been a huge passion of mine… specifically dancing! I was always finding dance classes to take throughout the years. After joining OneLife Fitness, I finally decided to take it step further and start teaching group fitness a few years ago. I am currently certified in both WerkIt dance and Soulbody Barre. I absolutely love helping you reach your fitness goals in creative and fun ways.

Dancing has always brought me so much joy. I love the freedom through movement, to authentically be YOU. The fact that you can come as you are and truly just “let go” in a safe environment with no judging, is an amazing feeling! Dance brings connection… to your own soul and also to a group of likeminded, beautiful friends!”

Heather and Rhiannon wanted to start introducing themselves as the instructors of these Atlanta area Werkit classes, and we want you to meet some of our class members who attend classes regularly. We will be doing MEMBER SPOTLIGHTS!!! We hope this will make newcomers feel more safe to come to class knowing none of us are truly trained dancers. We just love to dance and move our bodies!

“My name is Rhiannon Turner, and I am 44 years old. I absolutely love dancing and have since I was a little girl. I grew up taking gymnastics classes and competed competitively. After that, I was a cheerleader for several years and I taught competition cheerleading until my late 20’s.

When I was in my 30s, I went to my first Zumba class. At first, I was like I will never be able to do this, and I was completely off beat and didn’t understand the structure. But I stuck to it, and it quickly became a passion of mine as I learned the dances. Moral of the story is to stick with it!!

Fast forward to joining a new gym at Onelife Fitness in 2018, where I found some of my best friends who too love to dance. Together, we have grown a couple dance businesses and finally settled on Werkit Fitness as the one platform we want to grow and share with the world.
