Y’all, I need to talk about our art sister because she is THAT girl and I will not stop saying it.
We had the honor of being there today when she unveiled her LARGEST mural to date on the 17th Street Bridge near Atlantic Station and I am still not over it. This woman painted an entire bridge. FOR THE CITY. Commissioned by the City of Atlanta through the Moving Atlanta Forward initiative, this mural is Atlanta’s welcome mat to the world as we get ready to host eight FIFA World Cup matches this summer. EIGHT. And they called on Melissa to represent us. As they should.
But what got me in my feelings was the detail — she wove the Girl Scout trefoil right into the design, with the lines representing the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta literally weaving the world together. Only Melissa would think like that. Only Melissa would make sure everybody felt seen in her work.
The unveiling was a WHOLE event. Drum line, Girl Scouts, Mayor Andre Dickens, news cameras — the city showed up because the work demanded it.
I am so proud of this woman it is ridiculous. Atlanta does not deserve her but we are so blessed to have her. Go find that bridge and go SEE it in person. You will not regret it.
this one is forever sis. 🔥

The work spoke for itself.
Every piece in our gallery responded to the same question:
What makes art priceless?
Swipe to see the original works created by our 7 featured artists — each funded through the ComfiArt Creative Fund and debuted at Why Art Is Priceless: Women Creators, Culture & Commerce.
And the room didn’t just admire the work — they bought it.
Congratulations to and , whose pieces sold that night for a combined $2,800. 🎉
This is what it looks like when artists are positioned as the businesses they are.
These aren’t just paintings. They’re statements. Businesses. Investments.
