Jason Atha - Mind Over Batter Your baseball/softball player struggles in games. I build the mindset that gets them results. Baseball and softball are hard!

I help ambitious baseball and softball players build unshakeable confidence so they can crush it on game day...without the yelling, overthinking, and extra hours of BP. Jason is a youth sports mindset strategist who is transforming the way youth athletes perform on the field. As a former Division I baseball standout at Georgia Tech, Jason understands the pressures that come with competing in high-

level athletics. Fear, anxiety, and uncertainly result in underperformance for millions of young athletes. Jason experienced it firsthand, as a player and a coach. Jason used to be right where you are right now. He watched his daughter perform in practice, but struggle in games. The countless hours of practice just led to more frustration, anxiety, and struggle. But then he began to tap into the potential of the mind. A simple mindset shift transformed his daughter's performance and his own anxiety on game day. Jason teaches athletes and parents how to tap into the limitless potential of their mind by using mindset strategies that skyrocket success on the field. As a Dad of a high-level competitive fastpitch softball player, Jason understands the struggles of parents and players and has the solution to your underperformance problems.

The most important quality in an athlete as described by one of the top coaches in the ACC...

Good one here from Jameis. She something doesn’t go your way…It’s just a minor setback for a major comeback.

28 Medals across 5 Olympic Games. 23 of those GOLD.

If you don't know Michael Phelps...learn who he is.

If you're an athlete or the parent of one, I'd suggest you listen to what he has to say.

Someone with that much success is doing something different than everyone else.

What he has to say is simple.

Yet it's something 99.9% of athletes fail to do.

This one mindset shift is something that helped make Michael Phelps unstoppable.

And it can do the same for you.

True for athletes too!

I recently went to the chiropractor because of some recurring pain in my left leg. I've had this same pain on and off over the years.

After taking a quick look the doc asks me, "Have you ever broken your right leg?"

I responded with, "Yes, I broke it when I was six."

"How long did you wear a cast?", he asked.

"Eight weeks," I responded.

"That explains why you have recurring pain in your left leg." he said.

The doc went on to explain that your brain rewires itself when it needs to accomplish something new.

For 8 weeks, my brain did just that. It rewired itself to use more strength in my left leg to take the pressure off my broken right leg.

For 42 years now, those new neural pathways have been doing the same work. Thus, pain in my left leg for overuse.

More proof of the extraordinary power of the mind. It can be programmed to accomplish whatever you want to accomplish.

It's time to use it to your advantage on the ball field.

Mookie Betts was nervous.

Parents...do you think, or know, that your kid gets nervous in games? I know they're nervous...and you are as well. How you interpret the nervous feeling is key to success. Being nervous isn't a bad thing...it just shows that the situation means something to you.

So why did I bring up Mookie Betts?

Game 7 of the World Series. Mookie Betts described the 9th inning as the most nervous he's ever been on a baseball field. Keep in mind who Mookie Betts is...one of the most elite baseball players on the planet.

During the 9th inning, Betts says he was talking to himself...saying, "Be nasty, Mook. Be nasty right now!"

The best players in the world know the importance of self-talk. They understand how important it is to remind themselves how good they are.

And here you are thinking self-talk is crazy. NOPE! Instead, it's one of the things that separates good players from great ones.

If you’re judging the sucesss/failure of an 0 for 4 day by looking at the 0, you’ve got it all wrong.

There's core truth in the Bible that confirms the mindset training I deliver to athletes each and every day. "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." - Romans 12:2
