Proud Deaf Awareness Month Moment: I’ve been attending the Cookbook Club at Hickory Flat Library for almost a year and I suggested to celebrate Deaf Awareness Month is to do recipes from a Deaf Chef.
This is our Deaf Awareness Month celebration. Plus I gave a presentation about Sign Language and different cultures of Deaf communities in USA vs Internationally.

Thank you for all that came out today for Starbucks ASL Workshop. We had 3 more people, but the workers had to leave to go home or start their shift so wasn’t in the picture.
Next month, I am told by Alex that other Store Managers of Starbucks and their workers are going to join so it will be bigger.
October’s Workshop is Saturday, October 4th at 4pm 🤟🏾

Today we had our Deaf Chat West Cobb at our new location and it was big hit. More people came out, more comfortable, staff was so nice, and the drinks and food are really good.
