🌟Resident Retreat🌟

This past weekend we had a wonderful resident retreat at the lake in Blue Ridge mountains! ☀️⛵️😎

It was a great way to soak up the sun and bond with our co-residents outside of the hospital. We are so grateful to our fellows for taking primary call during this time 💗

Special thanks to our amazing PD for the opportunity to reset and for coordinating such a fun experience!

Meet Swapnil Shah

Hometown: West Chicago, Illinois
Med school: Creighton University School of Medicine

Fun fact: I wrote a little book when I was 15! And I have kept it hoping one day I can publish it! 📚

Today we discussed cutting edge research on cochlear gene therapy and stented vs. non-stented techniques in choanal atresia repair. A great event sponsored by with interesting presentations by Drs. Hardin and Liu-Lam as we enjoyed delicious food at Rumi’s Kitchen 😋

This month we had a great hands-on pediatric airway training session at Arthur M. Blank Hospital for our ENT residents—focused on airway readiness and procedural fundamentals

Huge thank you to Dr. Deshpande and our Interventional Pulmonology + Pediatric Surgery teams for coordinating an awesome course! 👏✨
