Please note that bus routes will operate with added precaution to ensure the safety of our students.

Inclement Weather Update

The Winter Storm Watch previously in effect for the Metro Atlanta area has been updated to an Ice Storm Warning, with forecasts indicating ice accumulations that could create hazardous travel conditions and the potential for widespread power outages.

Out of an abundance of caution, Impact Leadership Christian Academy will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, and all school-based staff will not report to work in person. To ensure continuity of learning, students are expected to continue learning at home with guidance provided by their teachers. Teachers will communicate instructional expectations and resources directly to students and families.

ILCA will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and will provide ongoing updates regarding operations for Tuesday, January 27. We will provide a formal update on Monday as conditions continue to be assessed.

This is a reminder that tomorrow is an asynchronous learning day, and scholars will not be on campus. Please check Google Classroom or ClassDojo for assignments.

Scholars will also be out of school Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Dear ILCA Families,

We want to make you aware of very cold weather expected on Thursday morning, January 15. According to the National Weather Service, wind chill temperatures may feel as low as 17 degrees around 7:00 a.m., with strong wind gusts up to 30 mph. Temperatures are expected to stay quite cold throughout the morning and may not reach 40 degrees until midday.

Because of the cold and wind during morning drop-off and arrival times, we kindly ask that students come to school dressed warmly, including coats, hats, and gloves as needed. Our team will also be taking extra steps to ensure students are brought indoors as quickly and safely as possible.

Thank you for partnering with us to keep our students safe and cared for. We are grateful for your continued trust and support. As always, we cover our school community in prayer and trust God to keep us safe as we come and go.
