I am grateful for a time of rest. Before we were ordered to shelter in place and work from home, I was exhausted and my body was warning me that it needed (not just wanted) rest. My body needed recovery time, but I ignored the signs and kept pushing myself. Without being forced to sit down, I may have faced some serious health challenges.

What is your body telling you it needs right now?

Now more than ever it is important to boost our positive emotions. For the next 5 days, join me in participating in the Happiness “Daily Half Dozen” Challenge. Every day complete all six of these activities.

1. Write down three blessings and why each one is a blessing.
2. Do something kind for someone else.
3. At least 20 minutes of movement.
4. Laugh.
5. 60 seconds of quiet and deep breathing.
6. Something that brings you joy (you fill in the blank!)
