4 years ago today, it was my joy to unite these two, to become one flesh.

Thinking back to my time spent with them preceding their wedding day, they reinvigerated my hope for the younger generational view of marriage.

They successfully completed the required course sessions for my Fortified PreMarital Counseling & FULLY prepared for matrimony, not just their wedding!

From both sides of the vows, family, finances, faith, health, s*x, parenting, etc ... no stone was left unturned.

I'm proud of them & I pray they continue to choose God's way & one another forever. Happy Anniversary to Michael & Jakai McEwen 🎉🥂‼️

Roy IV (Quad) has settled into his new digs & excitedly starts his 2nd year of college this week.

Royce Jeremiah (RJ) boldly stepped into his 2nd year of high school last week, embracing his new favorite subject; Español.

God we thank you for keeping & guiding them. Please continue to protect them as they forge ahead, growing in integrity and valor FOR YOUR GLORY 🙏🏽. Amen.

Thank you for taking such good care of our family, for being the strong man of God that fearlessly leads us. Our sons are so blessed to have an undeniable example of Biblical manhood & servant leadership in the home. They don't have to go searching elsewhere. You are a living epistle & there aren't enough words to express my gratitude for you & the life you've made for us.

Looking at this photo of me and my boys when they were just toddlers reminds me of this truth:

✨ Balance starts with priorities.
And motherhood has always been one of mine.

Before 👉🏾 the titles.
Before 👉🏾 the business.
Before 👉🏾 the platforms and plans ...
My home, my husband, my sons — came first.

Motherhood is ministry and when I lead from love at home, I’m more grounded everywhere else.
