Save a portion of your income: As a teenager, it's easy to spend your money on the latest gadgets, clothing or food. But it's important to develop a habit of saving. Try to save a portion of your income (e.g., 10-20%) each month. You can put the money into a savings account or invest it in a low-risk investment such as a mutual fund. Starting to save early on can have a big impact on your financial future.
Find ways to earn more money: One of the best ways to save money is to earn more of it. Look for ways to earn extra income such as doing odd jobs for neighbors, babysitting, or working a part-time job. You could also consider starting a small business, like selling items you make, doing pet-sitting, or offering tutoring services. By increasing your income, you'll have more money to save and spend, and you'll learn valuable skills that can help you in the future.

Finland has the number on education system in the world right now due to many factors, but I will cover the ones that are most affecting our kids here in the United States. Finland is the leader in education due to its holistic approach to teaching. A holistic learning environment is an environment that supports a students emotional, social, ethical, and academic needs.
• There is no standardized testing required of any student except for a National Exam which is purely voluntary for students. Standardized testing has a negative impact on students. Standardized testing only good a determining how good of a test taker a student is. It can not measure any real progress, these tests we all know is racist, and it is an unfair metrics for teacher to evaluate students. So, ask yourself, what is the purpose?
• Finland makes the basic education principles a top priority. Education is a tool to balance social inequality, psychological counseling, individualised guidance, and making the school a harmonious and healthy learning environment for student to learn stress free by beginning with the individual student before treating them collectively.
• There is no competition amongst schools in Finland. Americans and many other countries see the education system as a big competition. Which school made the highest scores, which school had the least number of absences, school with least amounts of retains, etc. In Finland you will find not list of top performing schools, teachers of the year, best test taker of the year, etc. The school system is more of cooperation instead.
So I feel we can learn a lot from how the best school system in the world operate and take up some of their suggestion because the rate we going things will only get worse for our public school system in the United States.

How can public school become more successful like private schools?
We first need to look at why private schools are better than private schools. One of the greater advantages of private schools is they can have smaller class sizes which allows them to better understand each child learning style. They can give each student a more individualize learning experience.
Another advantage for private schools is they are not required to follow the national curriculum which allows them to create a curriculum that works for each student and not a one size fit all type of deal like public schools.
Now I understand public schools is not able to group smaller class size, but a solution could be to understand each child learning style with a simple assessment and group them accordingly with a teacher to teach only that learning style. Being there are 4 learning styles considered in teaching:
1. Visual learning- individuals who better understand and retain information visually.
2. Auditory learning- individuals who take in information by hearing with the auditory. These individuals must not only hear but must be able to talk through the information to understand it.
3. Kinesthetic learning- individuals who prefer to learn by doing task hands on. The best way for them to connect with the information.
4. Reading/Writing- individuals able to better consume information by seeing the content in words.
Just imagine the impact it would make on a kid if he/she can not have to adapt their learning skills to a package curriculum, but the learning content can adapt to their learning style. , , , , , , , , ,
