Never posted this but since its TBT…PS is my baby and because I have the foresight to know that PS will be big and impactful, I had to make it official. Haven’t quite gotten the ball rolling the right I want, but sometimes it takes time to get things going the way the vision was given. Its overdue…so now I need to start the team building process because this vision and mission is not to be carried out by me alone. Stay tuned. 💙💛

Major key 🔑. When we have obtained the resources and knowledge in different areas of life, we must share our wisdom and tools for success with others. That is a key of our own success. Project SWATS is founded on this and although it’s been a work in progress for a while, the vision is still crystal clear. In due time we’ll be back and ready to make these positive impacts in our black communities. Stay locked in 🤞🏽💙

Hi Scholars! I hope you are all doing well and making space for yourselves during these difficult times.
We are back from our social media break to announce our inaugural annual scholarship program‼️

We will be awarding $1,000 each to two deserving Black students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in the USA. This is no quarantine/2020 bandwagon for us—Black students always have and always will matter to . ✊🏾Please note that there is NO minimum GPA requirement to apply. Although we are experts at successfully navigating higher ed, we take issue with the ways that GPA and test scores are used to disenfranchise Black students. So we aren’t taking part in that.

The foundation of Project SWATS is our Five Pillars of Wisdom (5POW). These are areas that were identified to encompass some of the most important topics and skills that were/are often neglected in traditional school curriculums but are very necessary for navigating through life. Our goal is to empower and equip young adults and millennials with wisdom and tools for success in these areas. The topics listed for each pillar are just examples of some of the things that we will focus on. @ Atlanta, Georgia
