Tried archery for the first time and loved it!

There was a time when I couldn't come up with a single potential hobby idea.

Then I said "yes" when someone invited me to try kickboxing ๐ŸฅŠ and another "yes" when my sister asked me to hike up a mountain ๐Ÿฅพโ›ฐ๏ธ with her.

๐ŸคฉBAM! Two hobbies right there.

The same happened in my career.

I never knew what I wanted to do, but I said "yes" to projects, assignments, and challenges that helped me discover my passion towards work I'd never even considered.

I feel like there's a lesson in there somewhere...

For now I'll just focus on how cool ๐Ÿ˜Ž I look about to take down a paper ๐ŸŽฏ target ๐Ÿน

..while a T-Rex ๐Ÿฆ– runs the other way ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’ช

Oh how I wish I'd known this years ago, before I incurred $40,000 in student loans.

That's why I am SO excited to share this with you. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’–

I could have saved thousands ๐Ÿ’ธ of dollars.
I could have gotten my degree months or even years earlier if only I'd known.

Why didn't my High School guidance counselors tell me about this?!

๐Ÿ™‡๐Ÿพโ€โ™€๏ธNo offense, Ms. Arroyo. You made sure I went to college and I'm grateful ๐Ÿฅฒ (Please don't hate me!).

But seriously - this is GOLD to anyone who wants to get a bachelor's degree in less time and with less ๐Ÿ’ต.

โžก๏ธShare this far and wide.
๐Ÿ“ŒSave it for yourself.
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธLet's start a conversation about it.

Got questions?
I got answers. Let's GO!

If you've got an interview coming up, congratulations!

Have you planned which questions you will ask the interviewer?

If not, here are some questions you can ask that are both useful to you and also will make you look good.

Good luck with your next interview!

I often say you don't need a Bachelor's degree to get the job you want, but I'm curious... if you want to get your Bachelor's, what's keeping you from it?

๐Ÿ’ฐ The cost?

โณ How long it will take?

๐Ÿ” The admission requirements?

๐Ÿ”จ Too busy to attend class?

โ“ Something else?

Forget the job post's "requirements." If you *know* you can do the job, all you got to do is find a way to show them.

How to get a job without the required experience:

"Experience" is just a way to give the hiring manager confidence that you can do the job well.

It's โ˜๏ธone way, but not the only way.

Want the job?
Show the you can do it. Bring them proof! ๐Ÿงพ

I have never been paid what I think I'm worth. ๐Ÿ˜ž

Someone said this to me just yesterday.
I could see the frustration in their eyes.

This came from a top performer, innovator, dedicated and responsible person who has produced measurable and meaningful gains for past employers.

Why haven't they been paid what they are worth?

โŒ They've limited themselves to working at jobs that cannot afford them.
โŒ They feel that a better job is just impossible to get.
โŒ They are convinced they just don't have what it takes.

That's what I love to work on!

No, I'm not going to sing you Arthur's "believe in yourself" theme song. ๐Ÿฐ

I'm going to:
๐Ÿ’ช Prepare the heck out of you. ๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ
๐Ÿ’ช Help you identify the G.O.A.T. in you.
๐Ÿ’ช Guide you, and as you see results, I'll let you discover that:

"Holy sh&*... I really CAN do this!"

Are you just f'n DONE waiting for a miracle so that you can land the kind of job you want?

Shoot me a DM and tell me all about it. Spill! Let your frustration out. Curse a little bit.
I'll help. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

My life and the pursuit of a bed.๐Ÿ›Œ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

On April 17, 2005 I arrived in the US with only about a week's worth of clothes.

I was born again that day, so I celebrate 4/17 every year. ๐Ÿ‘ธ๐Ÿพ๐ŸŽ‚Today is my Sweet 16, y'all!!

Let me share what I mean by "the pursuit of a bed":

๐Ÿฃ I'm from a rural village in the Dominican Republic.
The kind where transportation has 4 legs ๐Ÿด, there's no electricity, and if you want tap water in your house, you get it yourself.

๐Ÿ›๏ธ ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘งI shared a small bed with 2 people including one adult then, and continued to share small beds, sleep on floor mattresses and couches until finally: My own twin bed at college! ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿพ

After college I lived in a small studio apartment with 3 other family members, so back to the couch I went. ๐Ÿ‘Ž

That's when my career journey began. I knew I had to improve my lifestyle. I guess all my drive comes from my love of a good night's sleep. ๐Ÿ˜ด

Rented my own room two months later (thanks Craigslist) though I had a futon, not yet a real bed. But it was MY futon. Hello American Dream! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ

Got my first real bed after ๐Ÿ”Ÿ years in the US but I got it, baby. Success! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

So: Happy US birthday to me, and never stop chasing your bed - I mean dreams. ๐Ÿ’ญ

"I can't possibly start a business doing X because the market is already oversaturated."

You know like the makeup scene? You got a ton of companies selling the same thing and new ones coming up all the time. KJ did it anyway.

๐Ÿฅบ"How can I sell this? Won't they know I'm a fraud?"

KJ doesn't even have lips naturally, yet is making a fortune selling lipstick.

Not a diss on KJ, just something to help you see that the limiting thoughts in your head are just that.

Kylie's example not enough?

How about next time you feel unqualified... think about ๐ŸŸ  45. ๐Ÿ˜‰

What other examples would you add?๐Ÿ‘ˆ
