Social media is turning the beauty of the occult into something sinister. It saddens my heart to see how certain practitioners have taken a beautiful practice, witchcraft and rootwork, and turned into something centered around darkness and drama.
These practices were created out of love and honor. Unfortunately, there are people who have turned it into a show and are leading many astray.

The Power of Markings and Sigils✨

There is power in the simplest of things. And using markings or sigils can create an added power out of this world.

Using markings or sigils for your spells and rituals can take anything to a different level.

When using markings or sigils the power comes from the energy that you give it. That power comes from your focus and intention. When you take the time to lock in and focus on what it is that you are creating, you are giving this it’s personal power for whatever specific purpose it is needed for.

There are markings, symbols and sigils for so many different things and this is just a chart containing a few. You can use these to craft and create so many beautiful things, the sky is the limit.

CRAFTING SPELLS✨
I am a big on “re using” resources as much as possible so when I saw this post I had to re share this with you all.

One of the most important lessons to learn while on this journey is the foundation of things. If you know what things are best used for, you can create and craft pretty much anything and be able to reuse those things in different ways.

Here you will find a list of materials that can be used for protective Magick✨ There are herbs and crystals listed that can be used to craft all sorts of great things🖤

Once you have an understanding of what herbs are for what things and what crystals have what properties, you can put together something magical with your eyes closed😆
You will also be able to find ways to reuse things and find ways to work with things that you already have at your fingertips.

Crafting and Magick doesn’t have to be complicated but it does need to be filled with intention and flowing with energy✨

Missing materials? The good news is there’s rarely one “right” ingredient for a working, and even better, a witch is nothing if not resourceful! Throughout history, practitioners have worked with what was available to them, adapting traditions to their local gardens, landscapes, cultures, and circumstances.

I think the key, when you’re planning out your working, isn’t finding the perfect herb or crystal, it’s more about understanding what role each ingredient plays within the working. What do you want it to do to contribute to the spell?
