Make sure when you’re demanding someone to love you, that your behavior makes you easy to love! Being mean, contentious, combative and rude makes it’s hard for even the kindest person to do so.

Obedience is better than sacrifice…

“But Samuel declared: “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obedience to His voice? Behold, obedience is better than sacrifice, and attentiveness is better than the fat of rams.”-‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭15‬:‭22‬ ‭BSB‬‬

God wants our FULL obedience! This scripture is literal and symbolic. The full passage is discussing Saul’s disobedience (eventually repentance when made aware…that’s a whole different post) and the consequences of not fully obeying God. (HUGE paraphrase-read the full passage)

When God says ALL he means ALL! Partial obedience is STILL disobedience.

Another revelation is what WE sacrifice when we choose disobedience over obedience. We sacrifice close communion with God, peace, destiny, divine alignment, the glory of the Holy Spirit, pure joy, our light and glow, the protection of things unseen (we open ourselves up to ungodly things to wreak havoc in our lives) and so much more.

I’m not even gone hold you though…obedience vs. our flesh can be hard at times and if someone tells you differently they’re telling a LIE! Some things are easy to obey…others not so much. Regardless of the ease do all you can and pray for Holy Spirit to do what you can’t to OBEY GOD! You’ll be beyond grateful that you did.

We take the power of intercession for granted. When God tells you to stand in the gap for someone…DO it! Even if you don’t see the fruit and you’ve been interceding with no tangible proof…DO it! If it doesn’t seem fair or even seem like it’s not your responsibility…if God is calling you to intercede…DO IT!

God sees what we don’t, we don’t have to understand all the parts to obey his instructions. Your intercession can be the tool to saving someone’s soul. Don’t take it lightly.

Some have made Jesus their brand instead of their Savior. Today is a great day to get to know him authentically and with true intention. There’s no right or wrong way to come to Christ. Just go. Happy Sunday! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🩷

Lead with love not pride, arrogance and/or self-righteousness 🫶🏽🫶🏽! It goes a lot further and is received better. Try it! 😉

Life has a way of really rattling you and shaking the very core of your foundation of life. To the point where it causes you to question everything you thought you understood about life, morals, principles etc. I’ve been there more times than I would prefer, BUT what I do know is the one SURE, solid and consistent component in my life is God. My personal relationship with God has literally saved my life over and over again. He doesn’t rescue me because I’m perfect (far from that), he doesn’t rescue me because I look, sound or act the part. He does it because he loves me PERIOD!

Today is a great day to get to know him for yourself, in whatever way you feel led. Don’t let culture, pre-programmed pretenses, someone else’s method or anything else deter you from going to the one who has all the answers, resources and is waiting to welcome you with open arms. You don’t need to be cleaned up, in a certain setting or building, perfect, dressed a certain way or anything else to go to Christ.

I didn’t know anything about God, church etc. until the age of six, when God revealed himself to my mom in our livingroom in the middle of the night while she was drunk! Yup you read it right…she was DRUNK ON DA LIQUOR! 😆😆God then orchestrated her cousin to reach out to help further her journey and walk with Christ very shortly after he revealed himself to her and the rest is history.

Point is COME TO CHRIST…PERIOD! He’s waiting for you and now is the time! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Disagreement doesn’t automatically mean anger, judgement, shaming, etc. Unlearn this behavior and relearn how to peacefully disagree in love.

Long Post Alert!

There has been an influx for quite some time now of bad decisions finally coming home to roost. The weight and explosiveness of the exposure for some has been mind blowing. 🤯

👮🏽 Some of it is absolutely criminal both in law and morally but whether it's criminal or not, some things people just bring on themselves. Yes, as consenting adults you can do whatever you choose but be SURE when you make those decisions you count the full cost. Getting caught up in the moment can cost you your life, family, legacy, respect and more. When you engage in activities, with people, situations etc. it's more than just the act. There are consequences, soul connections, and lifelong impacts that come along with your decisions.

💡 THINK before you act and engage in anything, anyone or make lifelong decisions. You open yourself (and whoever else is involved) up to whatever is tied to that decision and action. Be mindful of who you grant access to and bring into your/your family's lives.

🤷🏽‍♀️You can do whatever you choose but some things just aren't worth the fallout! Don't be so tunneled vision and overcome with passion, that you set yourself up for failure, strife, loss and whatever else comes along with your decision. Choose wisely my friends!

Did you know that two or even more truths can exist at the same time. 🤯🤯

😥🤭😫You can be grieving the current loss, excited about what’s next and nervous of that outcome all at once!

👎🏾 We’ve done society a disservice by pushing the narrative that you can only feel one thing at a time. As well as not equipping people with the tools to manage emotions overall but also how to manage multiple ones all at once.

🙌🏽As a one and done mama, each college acceptance letter she receives is a gut punching reminder that my baby is growing up and life as I’ve known it for almost two decades, is coming to an end. I’m sad, excited and nervous for us both all at once! And guess what…that’s ok!

❌Don’t allow people to tell YOU, HOW YOU should manage your transitions based on THEIR perspective.
