A big thanks to Reformation Brewery for hosting Red White and Brews and making this a Memorial Day celebration to remember. It was an honor to connect with such amazing people and organizations that serve our veterans. Thanks for having us and allowing us to support our brother and sister vets.

Martin Luther King jr. was born on January 15th, 1929. He lived his life in service of others until he was assassinated in 1968. MLK Day is not only a day to reflect on his life and legacy but also a time to give back. He lead by example, serving everywhere he went, and his holiday is a call to action, urging us to do the same. Take a moment to stop and ask yourself how you can give back. Look for ways you can serve your community, or volunteer your time for a charitable cause. Above all, take this chance to ask yourself how you can make a difference in this world through the choices you make.

At 17 years old, Terry "Ranger" Johnson was inspired to join the Army when he saw the 1968 film, The Green Beret. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1980 and retired from the Military in 2000 with 20 years of service.

Terry developed his unique leadership style while serving in some of the most elite units in the Army. He spent the latter half of his career serving in the Special Forces as a Green Beret, where he conducted nation-building operations in South and Central America.

As a retired, service-disabled veteran Terry’s “mission mindset” remains intact: To help every Vet receive the benefits they have earned while serving our great nation!

Josh Allen is a Father of 3, a husband, and a Youth Minister. He spent 7 years in the Navy and had a great time serving. He went to a great college (UW) and had a great job. From the outside looking in, life was good for him...

When the door closed, however, he faced a private battle with PTSD on a daily basis.

Then he learned about the benefits he didn’t know he was missing. He asked for help. He followed the RANGER Method, stayed in the fight, and got his issues rated T&P!

He joined Champions For Veterans in 2021 because "their purpose is my purpose: to bring Veterans the Support they need financially, physically, and mentally."

Gino Johnson started Champions For Veterans with the dream to change the lives of veterans and their families by helping them to get the benefits they deserve from the VA. He knows from experience that the lack of this valuable information can lead to families not receiving the benefits they've earned due to the military service their family members gave our country.

Prior to starting Champions For Veterans, Gino spent 9 years in corporate America, working for large and small organizations performing accounting and auditing functions. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from the University of Mississippi.
