Happy birthday Mommy! Your presence is felt in my mothering, in how I conduct business, in the fearless ways I move about the world, it’s all because I had you as my mother. To know Marcia is to know me. You were one of one! I am because you were and I continue to try to make you proud of me. Your physical absence is still heartbreaking but the way you move things out of my way in the spiritual realm is appreciated. I know it’s you every time! I love you more than words could ever express and I miss you everyday of my life. 12/26

Do you believe you can live your dream life?

I am the same girl who used to beg God for a husband and cry on my bathroom floor about not having my own family! Now I get to take holiday photos with my whole husband AND kid! This picture is literally proof of my manifestation power. (See previous post on how I actually went from single to married in just a few months)

Did I ever tell you about the time I manifested my husband in 40 days? No seriously! We got engaged on our first date, married 90 days later and have been married almost 6 years now. Yup, you read that right!

Here’s how it all went down.

So I was SINGLE, SINGLE in LA and I was tired of the foolishness with the men I was dating at the time. I decided to go on a “Man Fast” for Lent. No texting/talking to, flirting with and no dating men for 40 days. I used that time to draw closer to myself and God.

Something miraculous happened while I was fasting, I started to feel so loved! Like romantic love. I somehow knew that my husband’s energy was near and that it was his love I was feeling. I didn’t know how he would find me but I decided to rest in the knowingness that he would.

Fast forward to Easter Sunday, I broke my fast at midnight exactly and joined . was the first profile I saw. He was the complete opposite of what I normally dated but yet his profile spoke to me. I went to bed and to my surprise he sent me the most beautiful message for me to see that morning. We had one 4 hour conversation and exactly a week after Easter, I was ENGAGED!

Let’s talk about this a bit. How many things do we ask for but when it shows up we say “noooooooooo, this can’t be it!” What if I had said, “this is too fast, how can he be the one or there ain’t NO WAY this is real!” I would have talked myself right out of a whole husband because my mind couldn’t accept how fast and precise the Universe can be with delivering my desire?

If you’ve asked, believe it’s on the way and accept it when it shows up. Time is a human construct. The Universe moves rapidly in the absence of resistance.

Pictures really do tell the story. Nothing is better than feeling GOOD in your own skin! Changing my lifestyle is still a work in progress but every healthy decision I make fuels me because I know I what’s on the other side of the decision: FREEDOM! If you’ve never struggled with weight maybe that won’t resonate but the freedom to wear what I want, fit into airplane seatbelts with extra room and cross my legs easily are WINS!!!! Losing the weight is mentally and physically challenging but the reward is sweeter than any dessert!

The photo on the left was a candid from my brand photoshoot in April 2021 and the picture on the right was from a date night in September. There’s a 50 pound difference between the pictures!

The woman on the left was HAPPY but the woman on the right is HAPPIER! My happiness improved because I kept the promise I made to myself not just because I am now a smaller human. I have been saying I wanted to lose weight each NYE for as long as I can remember and this year I don’t have to write that goal. I can focus on continuing to become the best version of myself and if that includes losing more weight that’s fine but there’s so much more I want to manifest in my life! I am healthier, I am stronger both physically and mentally. That is PRICELESS!!!! Most importantly, I am PROUD of myself for making decisions that show self-love!
