While many colleges and universities have extended their test optional policies for the next few years, Purdue University announced today that they will be requiring SAT/ ACT scores for the 2024 admissions cycle. The majority of their Fall Freshman class (over 82%) had submitted either an SAT or an ACT score, though they were not required.

Among colleges ranked by U.S. News in an annual survey, the following 31 schools boasted the highest combined average SAT reading and math scores for fall 2021 entrants.
