Hello, AMFers! I wanted to post a check-in/update (+ a list of ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐). Even before coronavirus outbreak, we hadnโt heard from more than one person interested in an in-person support group, although we know there are young people out there in the Athens and UGA communities who are still grieving and need support during and after the loss of a loved one, a friendโฆeven the loss of a pet, which letโs be honest, is absolutely as hard as losing a human.

Hello, new AMF friends! We are getting the group back together! Stay tuned for updates here. We plan to start peer-to-peer support meetings again towards the end of February at Nuciโs Space.
In the meantime, check out this new app from AMFโs National group that provides resources, chat and connections with others seeking support just like you! We are trying to grow a better support network for students who are grieving and looking for peer-to-peer support through the process.
