Welcome back, agency members! We’re so glad to see you again. We hope everyone had a joyous and restful break. Let’s have another great semester!

As fall semester comes to an end, we are taking a moment to celebrate our December grads. Congratulations to Darwyn Ramirez, Alex Keezer, Rachael Tveter, and Gissell Balderas! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication. We appreciate your contributions to the agency and wish you the best in your future endeavors 🎓!

To mark the end of AdPR Connection week earlier this semester, select students visited the Coca-Cola headquarters in Atlanta. Several agency members attended, where they toured the campus, visited the internal marketing outfit (StudioX), and participated in discussions with Coca-Cola’s industry professionals. The visit was educational, inspiring, and impactful.

Client visits are always a privilege, and earlier this semester our Hibo team was able to visit the nearby canning facility.

The team met with Hibo and toured the grounds, learning about the brewing and distribution process and exploring the Hibo flavor profile. The team left with cans to share with their friends and family, and a new client experience they’ll never forget!

Client work is in full swing, and we are taking a moment to thank our hard-working agency members. Agency All-Stars lets teams celebrate their standout peers, and this week’s All-Star is Leanna Livingston!

Leanna’s team shares that she is “always willing to lend a helping hand whenever it is needed,” and she is an “empathetic leader” who communicates with “both kindness and efficiency.”

Great job, Leanna! The agency truly appreciates your hard work.

On Monday, select AdPR students visited the UPS headquarters to learn from industry professionals and gain a deeper understanding of the brand. The tour included a fireside chat and a panel discussion, during which students learned about the importance of modernizing a brand while maintaining company values and how to communicate effectively. The discussions also emphasized the importance of networking and a willingness to adapt and stay flexible as a young professional.

It was an inspiring day for our future leaders in Communications! Thank you, and for the opportunity!

Last week, the agency kicked off its meeting with a presentation from Managing Director Mary Ellen Barto. Members learned tips and tricks to succeed in an agency environment and how to thrive as a young ADPR professional.

Agency Co-Directors work hard to lead our agency. They act as liaisons between UGA faculty, clients, and agency stakeholders, while also managing the agency as a whole.

Evie is our Director of Copy, leading all copy and written communication, both for clients and the agency. She also advises all agency Copywriters!

Carter is our Director of Digital Media and Activations, overseeing digital strategy and maintaining a strong agency online presence. He also advises all agency Digital Media Specialists!

Madie is our Director of Art, supervising all visual and design elements for our clients, as well as within the agency. She also advises all agency Art Directors!
