Harris Patel (BSED '97) is bringing Bulldog spirit to the world stage.⚽️🏟️

As an athletic trainer for the U.S. Men’s National Team, Patel is known as the team’s hype man, the one greeting players off the bus and setting the tone before every training and match.

A Suwanee native, Patel was part of the first athletic training and sports medicine programs at UGA and hasn’t looked back, serving at multiple Olympic Games, World Championships and now his second consecutive World Cup.

Harley Yancey (BBA ’11, JD ’15) is on the move. As a 40 Under 40 honoree and president of State Mutual Insurance Company, he’s shaping Georgia’s future through leadership on state boards like the Georgia Department of Natural Resources and the North Georgia Mountains Authority. He also chairs the Georgia Life & Health Insurance Guaranty Association. A proud Bulldog, Harley stays closely connected to UGA by mentoring students through the UGA Mentor Program, past service on the Young Alumni Committee and has recently accepted an invitation to join the UGA Board of Visitors.
