This Wednesday (April 21) at 6:00PM via Zoom, Dr. Molly McLendon, a biologist at the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) in Washington DC, will discuss how she got involved with the BARDA, give us career advice, and answer any questions we have regarding a career in science. This will be a great networking opportunity and allow you to interact with an established scientist. We hope to see you all there!

As scientists, it’s important that we’re able to spread accurate information about modern scientific discoveries and phenomenon. As microbiologist specifically, it’s expected of us to be well informed regarding infectious disease and public health.🦠 Join us on Wednesday, April 14 at 6:00 PM where Mrs. Ashley Hagen, a science communication specialist from the American Society of Microbiology, will teach us accurate information about the COVID vaccines 💉 currently being distributed, as well as teach us how to spread accurate information and put harmful rumors to rest. You won’t want to miss this exciting and topical event!!
