Our Fun Run was a success, and we would like to thank our remarkable PTO team for facilitating the event. This was a great time for our students to be active and help raise money for school. Thank you to all of the parent volunteers, staff members, and sponsors; without them this event would not be possible. So far we have raised 30,351 dollars. Way to go, Roadrunners!

This Monday the fire department taught our adaptive students, second-grade and third-grade students, about fire safety. Students sat through a fire simulation, and they were about to tour a fire truck. Thank you, Athens Clarke County Fire Department, for emphasizing the importance of fire safety and taking the time to educate our youth. We hope that these lessons will have a lasting effect on our students.
