PTO Meeting โ November 18, 2026
At our last PTO meeting, it was announced that our Treasurer will be stepping down. We want to take a moment to recognize just how much this person has done behind the scenes to make our PTO events and programs possible.
This wasnโt simply about managing the books. This person has been booking rooms, printing posters, managing PTO funds, communicating with teachers and principals, coordinating Movie Nights, helping organize dances, working behind the scenes, and making sure countless details were handled.
The reality is simple: one person cannot replace all of that work. And right now, we need our community to understand how serious this is.
If we cannot fill our PTO Board positions and get more volunteers involved, there may not be a PTO moving forward.
And that would directly impact our children.
That could mean no PTO funding for field trips, fewer student activities, fewer family events, fewer opportunities for our kids, and less support for our teachers and classrooms. These are things our students have come to benefit from, and we do not want to see those opportunities disappear.
๐ But this is NOT about putting all of the responsibility on one or two people.
In fact, that is exactly what we are trying to prevent.
If we have enough parents, guardians, teachers, staff, and community members willing to step up and help, the workload can be shared. No one person should have to carry the PTO, and no one should feel like they are taking on an impossible amount of work.
We need parents to step up. We need teachers to step up. We need our community to step up.
This PTO belongs to all of us, and its purpose is to support our children.
Please come to our meeting on November 18th and learn how you can help. You do not have to know everything. You do not have to have experience. You simply have to be willing to contribute what you can.
The future of our PTO depends on people being willing to step forward. And ultimately, the people most affected if we cannot continue are our kids.
Please donโt wait for someone else to do it.
We need you. Our schools need you. Our children need you. โค๏ธ๐
