Elect Mary Kay Mills Atascadero School Board 2016

My name is Mary Kay Mills. I am running for re-election for Atascadero School Board. I am a wife, mother, and business owner. Having kids currently in Atascadero Schools and having served on the board the last 2 years, I feel I know our school district. In the past 2 years I have committed to supporting Atascadero Schools, events, and programs. I am very proud of our district and the direction it

is headed. In April we began our multi year One to One initiative at Santa Rosa Academic Academy. This means that every student will eventually have chromebook! This summer the Board reviewed our Vision, Mission, Graduate Profile, Core Values, and our nine district goals. I am very excited that when our students graduate they will be critical thinkers, effective communicators, teammates, self-directed, college and career ready scholars, and contributing citizens. These key factors will allow our graduates to be successful in our community and life. My personal desire is that every graduate is given the tools to succeed in whatever direction they choose to go be it college, trade school, or enter the work force directly from high school.
