On Saturday, August 15, we're organizing a group for a historic day of celebrating Women’s Sports! The Women's Lacrosse League is hosting its inaugural Championship at Subaru Park in Chester, PA, and they’ve offered our entire community complimentary tickets.

Not only is this a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see a league’s first ever Championship, but these women have also fought so hard to play a game on ESPN and on this stage. Let’s do our part to support them!

Over the past month, we have heard from many members of our community regarding the impact of our decision to provide transportation only on days when the Chichester School District is in session. We greatly value this feedback and appreciate the opportunity to better understand the needs of the students and families we serve.

After careful consideration and in the best interest of both our community and the district, we have decided to continue providing transportation for students on all days that private and parochial schools are in session, regardless of whether the Chichester School District is operating on those days.

As a district, we remain committed to being responsible stewards of community resources while also listening and responding to the needs of our stakeholders. This decision reflects our ongoing commitment to balancing fiscal responsibility with the educational needs of our students and families. We appreciate the engagement of our community members and will continue working collaboratively to serve all students effectively.
