And just like that…the last Northland College men’s basketball alumni have graduated! 🥲

Bittersweet day to say the least, but we’re thankful for the journey!

2nd Annual (and unfortunately last) End of the School Year Grill Out.

We were lucky enough to have some family and alumni join the team for some burgers and brats today. The guys also voted on a few team awards…

Lumberjack Award: Damian Cejka
Newcomer of the Year: Ari Pierson
Most Improved: Donovan Washington
Defensive Player of the Year: Stephen Kesti
MVP: Jahlani Thornton

Tyler Tuura finishes his collegiate career in the record book with 31 blocks, ranking him 7th all time in the D3 era. Tuura had a season-high 10 blocks this season!

After grabbing a program record 20 rebounds in the game against Martin Luther, Jahlani Thornton finishes the season with 197 rebounds! Thornton ranks 4th in rebounds in a season at Northland!!

Stephen Kesti finished his time at Northland in the record book! This season he blocked 29 shots, third most in a season at Northland. Also in only two seasons, ranks fourth all-time in career blocks with 48!

Program lost an influential piece, Rick 'Pops' Whiting passed away on January 31st...

Rick was an assistant coach with the Northland MBB program from 2002-2004 and then again 2015-2020. It's tough to put into words how much he'll be missed.

Coaches vs. Cancer week for the NABC and American Cancer Society… The initiative has raised over $167 million to support the American Cancer Society’s mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.

The guys filled out their “I Play For…” signs the other night.

Great having some former LumberJacks back in the gym today! And we had even more not pictured who came to the game/social!
