I have some time to myself this morning so I thought I share some of my morning reading with you. Detached single-family home sales rose in March, increasing 44.8 percent from an upwardly revised 431 detached home sales in February. The is the first gain in month-to-month sales activity in four months, and the largest percentage increase in month-to-month home sales since June 2012 when sales rose 50.3 percent. As reported by Greater Boston Association of REALTORS®. What I find amazing about these findings is the fact that sales of detached single-family homes actually declined for a second consecutive month due to low inventory and weather conditions. VASSAR STREET:
o Closed beginning at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24 between Audrey St. and Massachusetts Ave.
MASSACHUSETTS AVE
o Closed from Albany St. toward Boston beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24.
MASS AVE BRIDGE
o Closed beginning at 12 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24 between Massachusetts Ave. and the B.U. Bridge.
MEMORIAL DRIVE
o Closed beginning at 12 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24 between Massachusetts Ave. and the B.U. Bridge.
o There will be no parking on Memorial Drive between Massachusetts Ave. and the B.U. Bridge on Wednesday, April 24
o

These road closures are going to have a major impact on traffic in the city. Police are asking residents to plan ahead, seek alternate routes, and use public transportation whenever possible.
