PLANTING WORKSHOP! APRIL 25th 6-7pm on ZOOM...
The Merrimack and Hillsborough County Conservation District invite you to attend a virtual Zoom workshop on Thursday, April 25th from 6 PM - 7 PM to learn all about getting your native bareroot plants and perennials into the ground!

We are excited to have Stephanie Sosinski and Sean O'Brien from the UNH Cooperative Extension join us to share tips for planting seedlings and perennials and will answer all of your questions.

The proper planting and care will determine the success of new plants in the landscape. The presentation will cover how to grow healthy trees, shrubs and perennials through correct planting techniques, watering and fertilizing. Additionally, we will touch on plant spacing, soil types, sun exposure, w**d control and other related subjects. Back by popular demand, the presenters will also be doing a live planting demo of a blueberry plant! This went over so well last year that it will be fun to see it again.
