MARK YOUR CALENDAR: The 2026 VACRAO College Fair will take place from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Monday, October 19 at Atlee High School. The event will include more than 80 colleges from across the U.S. and is open to students from all HCPS high school students and families.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: We are hosting five job fairs in August for special education instructional assistants, bus drivers, custodians, food service staff, substitute teachers, and substitute instructional assistants. The job fairs will be held as follows:

- Wednesday, August 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mechanicsville Branch Library
- Thursday, August 6 from 1-4 p.m. at the Atlee Branch Library
- Wednesday, August 12 from 1-4 p.m. at the Ashland Branch Library
- Tuesday, August 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mechanicsville Branch Library
- Wednesday, August 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Atlee Branch Library
