Beethoven wrote his thirty-two piano sonatas across thirty years — from a young virtuoso's brilliance to the late works composed in near-total silence.

On September 19, Dr. Hwa-Jin Kim follows that arc at the keyboard: the Pathétique and Moonlight sonatas, and the late Sonata in A-flat major, Op. 110, in full — with the stories behind how his music changed.
