Hello beautiful party people 😊

After what happened with the "mushroom supplements" I've had several people ask who I trust.

I am not being compensated for the following recommendation, and I considered if giving a recommendation was appropriate for several days.
I'm in the process of rating all the headshops and dispensaries in Asheville from a safety perspective, and this maker gets an A, so I figured it was ok to share early.

I recommend AVL Edibles for two HUGE reasons:
1. Before we met, the owner got feedback that THCp was harmful and voluntarily pulled all of the stock and stopped selling it.

2. When I told them about the risk with Kanna and SSRIs, they immediately updated their labels with a clear interaction risk warning.

Nootropics and "Legal" Mushroom products.

Y'all, I can't stand being lied to, and if this review feels a little hot, that's why.

Edit to add: the rep that gave me the samples texted me this morning to let me know they quit yesterday after two years. They said they couldn't get accurate answers about what's in the products either. Do what you will with that info.

The products pictured below are 100% straight poison.
I consider ALL legal products that will 'make you trip' poison unless they come with an accurate and complete Certificate of Analysis.

The garbage pictured technically has a COA, and I reviewed each one... After I got the rep to locate a functioning link for their products. Speaking of their products, going down the rabbit hole on this led me to multiple fronts selling the EXACT SAME ISH, and a shill website written by AI.

It's not a stretch for me to say I hate this stuff:
I cannot teach harm reduction when I don't know what's in it.
I cannot give aftercare instructions when I don't know what's in it.

If you see this stuff or related products or in the wild, give them a wide berth and maybe ask the shop owner to stop carrying it?

Hello beautiful people!

I need your attention for a moment; there's a new adulterant showing up in the supply.

Medetomidine is a powerful veterinary sedative that can cause visual hallucinations. How powerful? More potent than xylazine, which is (probably) why it has surpassed xylazine as an adulterant.

The part that freaks me out is there isn't a test for Medetomidine.

For the handful of people that actually read the article: I can hear the "But Mouse, this is only in fentanyl" deflection.
Fentanyl is the test ballon when it comes to adulterants; once it starts there it spreads to other things like wealthy wyte people substances. I mean if a little xylazine in the kitty is okay, then this stuff has got to be even better, right?

If you're gonna consume, follow what I hope are standard Safety precautions like testing what you can and never consuming alone.

From a social perspective, this is 'evidence to the contrary' to the argument that legalization will increase consumption.
