Tonight at 6:00pm, the UNCA/NC State and WCU IEEE Hardware Teams are going head to head for a pre-SouthEast Con showdown. The two team's robot's will be on display to show their current progress in preparation for the SouthEast Con Hardware Competition, April 15th in Orlando, Florida. The IEEE Robot Team had the opportunity to present at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research, hosted at UNC Asheville this year. The presentation entitiled "A Case Study in Autonomous Robot Design" was about the research findings made from designing a robot for the 2016 IEEE Southeastcon Hardware Competition. The team members were Jeffrey Hay, Ross Heninger, Stephen Moyer, Casey Murphey, Christian Newhan, Corey Pullium, Fiona Popp, and Kyle Ward.
