Food Equity Initiative at UNC Asheville

FEI would like to say a HUGE thank you to HOBY North Carolina West for all of your help today!!

In just two hours, these incredible high school students cleaned and reorganized our pantry and made 118 sandwiches for Asheville’s free fridges.

What could have taken our summer staff (Jordan and Mikaela) weeks to accomplish was completed in a single afternoon thanks to their hard work, energy, and dedication. We are beyond grateful for your support and willingness to serve our community. Words cannot express our gratitude!!!

Here is our updated distribution schedule for the month of May! Starting today, we will be on Reed Plaza for most outdoor distributions in the summer, and keep our usual spot in the Side Door with some adjusted hours. Stop by and see us if you’re here! 🎉
