Wild Asheville Community Chorus

Wild Asheville Community Chorus The Wild Asheville Community Chorus began in 2008 and is led by Suzannah Park. New singers are welcome at the top of any season or any of our one-off events.

No auditions, memberships or religious affiliation. Just folks loving singing in harmony. The chorus is open to anyone who wants to sing, is willing to use their voice, build community and cares about social justice. All ages and level of singing abilities are welcome. No sight reading skills are required and all songs are taught by ear. We create a safe environment for those who might be a little

nervous about finding their voice. We have a lot of fun and we're taking our songs to the streets! Our Spring 2017 season is an 8 week training to develop as a singer and vocal member of our community and make a joyful ruckus that we're calling WACC-to the streets! Through singing and connection with one another we can increase our power and effectiveness in our own lives and as humans working together for social justice. To the streets - Level 1 melds personal-growth and connection to each other through singing, art & action! I believe that leading effective social change requires a deep understanding of, and congruence between, one’s inner experience and one’s actions for change in the external world. This change begins within each of us; if we're all working together, our power in moving forward as individuals and as a community is strengthened.
